Something strange and extraordinary
has happened to the world of music - the birth of Sticky Pistil. Described
as "the funkiest shit since White Castle bathrooms," Sticky
Pistil knows how to get down and dirty. Blending funk with rap, hip-hop
and psychedelic rock and roll, the band has created a unique sound which
they have dubbed "The Funkinmental Experience." Knowing that
the Experience was something they needed to share with the world, Sticky
Pistil went on-line. Riding the wave of new technologies, they created
an amazing website which has done wonders for their career. Using shockwave,
MP3's and lots of animation, Sticky Pistil's site is unforgettable.
When Amp3.com discovered Sticky
Pistil, they offered the band one of twelve spots on the Emerging Artists
stage at Woodstock '99. The band has also played the Taos Solar Music
Festival, and opened for bands like Spearhead, James Brown, George Clinton
and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Don't miss out on the "Terror of
the American Funk Scene." They're doing things the right way.
