The Unstoppable Alicia Perrone
the voice

The mysterious type, doesn't really let her hair down on stage until the 2nd half of the opening song. Her first public appearances found her draped over a piano singing torch songs for fatherly figures. But, influenced by the scandalous energies of Prince, Oingo Boingo, old disco and Ann-Margret, she and the rest of Simon Stinger have become popular for slick and dynamic kick-ass performances that can take you through the roof. Many reviews have highlighted Alicia's natural command of an audience. Copping the stage moves of cartoon icon Ann-Margrock, she says she wishes she had grown up in Las Vegas during the wild heydays of showstoppers Sammy Davis, Jr. and Dean Martin. Go figure.

Victor James
the bassist
Victor co-founded Simon Stinger with Perrone, and the pair shared chief songwriting duties for the current release. Victor's candid love affair with the members of KISS continues well into adulthood. But he's never forgotten his roots - supporting the Ricky Nelson tour with his band Tommy Atkins at the age of 14. He has literally grown up on the road. His influences are broad, ranging from Duran Duran and Culture Club to Bang Tango. On stage, his undeniable rock-star demeanor nearly eclipses his obvious talents as a bassist and supporting vocalist. A well-respected engineer and producer, he not only engineered and produced Simon Stinger's earlier efforts, but his services have become increasingly sought after by other bay area bands.

Marcus Henderson
the guitarist
Hailing originally from the planet Venus, guitarist Marcus Henderson actually appears to have been genetically concocted from a hybrid of hi-tech gadgetry and low-fi spy films. With a pedigree of experience up and down the west coast, he adds a powerful sound and melodic sense not heard since the likes of Steve McQueen and Billy Zoom. Just where were Marcus' hands on the night of December 31, 2001? Only Line 6 amps, MJ Guitars, and Dean Markley know for sure.

Eric Oushani
the drummer
Like a foul-mouthed phoenix, drummer Eric has risen from the ashes of the Bay Area's punk and hip-hop scenes. Having first gained notoriety with the punk rock trio The Fabulous Flesh Weapons, Eric went on to contribute drum tracks for recordings by artists as diverse as Boston's David Sykes and Philbrite, and spent two years touring nationally with the Marginal Prophets before joining Simon Stinger. He has played with such fury that most foundations (and some small buildings) have been shaken to rubble. An accomplished writer and arranger, the newest addition to the lineup is the icing on Simon Stinger's pineapple upside-down cake.
