Milton is an NYC singer/songwriter, well known in clubs and college radio stations up and down the east coast for his "hummable melodies," "spot-on lyrics," tight,groovy band and soulful live shows. Milton ’s songwriting sprouted from a childhood obsession with Dylan ’s "Nashville Skyline," Van Morrison ’s "Moondance," and whatever else the grown-ups were playing in the other room. He grew to write a slew of his own songs and show-case a very individual style, while never abandoning the easy going country/rhythm and blues/pop craft of his first masters. Milton ’s debut CD on Raleigh, NC indie label Moon Caravan made it into regular rotation on New York ’s WFUV radio and his song “In The City ” was voted one of the best songs of the year by the station director Rita Houston. He appears regularly at New York ’s Living Room, Boston ’s Club Passim, Cary NC ’s Six String Music Hall and many points in between. A follow up CD is currently in the works.
