Anyone who has had the opportunity to see the McCloskey Brothers Band perform live knows what the buzz is about.
Their debut album, self-titled The McCloskey Brothers Band, has been receiving tremendous reviews. Relix Magazine calls it "a superb album" and Musicians Realm refers to it as "a must listen CD you should add to your collection." In 2001, the band has performed at the Grand Targhee Bluegrass Music Festival, The Bluegrass and Beyond Festival, and the internationally acclaimed Jamgrass Festival. Their 2002 gigs have included opening up for the Derek Trucks band with Phil Lesh sitting in, a tour of the Northwest where they filled venues from Seattle to San Francisco, as well as gigs throughout the West including SoHo in Santa Barbara, the Zepher Club in Salt Lake City, and the Fox Theater in Boulder.
