Talented musician Eric McFadden and his band deliver on their latest album "Joy of Suffering." Eric McFadden’s voice has a dark, almost sinister edge, which captures the essence of the songs. He plays the guitar with fervor not commonly seen amongst today’s musicians. The Eric McFadden Trio is welcome change to the rock seen.

The tracks on "Joy of Suffering" embrace a range of rock sounds. Some, like “Limitations,” have a dark, edgy sound. Others like “Put it Down” are more psychedelic. Then there’s tracks like “Miranda,” which use flamenco guitar. McFadden’s ability to play so many guitar styles makes "Joy of Suffering" a great album.
