Cyber PR - Your Customized Online PR Campaign
The social media revolution is upon us, and gaining online traction is no longer about mass broadcasting. High personal touch and niche marketing are critical components for success in today’s “new” music business. Artists must now focus more on building and continually engaging their communities, in order to build the fanbase they desire.
On the Internet, fans are no longer just customers - they have now become a powerful and influential part of the media itself. Artists who understand how to authentically connect with this new breed of interactive new media fan are reaping enormous benefits for their careers by enthusiastically engaging in the new, two-way conversation between musician and fan.
The Impact Of Social Media:
“A new study by New York University's Stern Business School tracked blogging activity around 108 albums for four weeks before and after their release dates…The study showed that, if 40 or more blog posts were made before an album's release sales ended up being three to four times the average for both indie and major releases. If blog posts crossed 250, album sales rose to six times the average regardless of label…in a fractured media landscape it seems to be the cumulative effect of a multitude of impressions that matters.” – Hypebot

Over the duration of the campaign, we send appropriate suggestions to several hundred matching new media outlets for consideration.
Each new media outlet can login to Cyber PR using a username and password. He can log in at anytime and download MP3s, and photos, leave feedback, request recorded IDs, CDs, items for contests, and feature interviews in the interface.

We build a custom VPK (Virtual Press Kit) for each artist that includes a succinct overview including MP3s, custom drops, bio, photos, album cover art, hometown, etc.
